Purex Insiders: Purex Ultra Packs Plus Oxi

This is my 3rd campaign that I was selected for them! I love Purex Insiders so much! I love trying out new products and blogging about them. I didn't blog for the second product, the Fels-naptha, because I did not have a good experience with it and was sort of torn on what to do, because reporting is asked of you in exchange for the product to try out. This was the first time I had this predicament, because everything I have product tested, I've enjoyed and had no problem posting a blog or taking a survey about it. I emailed someone and they told me to be honest about it, but alas I missed the deadline because of a hectic September, but those are my feelings. The laundry bar was supposed to remove stains, but I guess my stain that I tested was just too deep! ;( Anyways... on to this great campaign!

I had already been a big time user of Purex Ultra Packs but this was the first time with the OXI element! To me there was no difference that I could really see! I will continue to use the Ultra Packs, because not only are they convenient and easy for on the go, they are affordable! Thank you, Purex Insiders!

Underwear was from a Victoria Secret mailer. I need to redeem those "free panty" coupons more. It's a $12.50 value!

Small week, but that's ok! It happens! I have a lot of awesome freebies coming!! ;)

Mailbox Freebies - September 14-September 21st

I've been slacking with the freebie posting, I was out of a town due to a death in the family for a whole week, which throws you off your Freebie game, but I have been getting some pretty amazing ones these past couple weeks, so this post is just reflecting last weeks! ;)

I will say that this was just TWO days of one week! It was just a fun day opening freebie gifts in the mail that I needed to snap a pic! My YEARS supply of BB Cream finally came! My amazing Lash Bash party pack which you got to see in more depth in the last post, a Purex Insider goodie. The Loreal moisturizer was a gift from them just because I allowed them to stalk my Pinterest, and the Berry keeper was from Reddi-Whip, and then there is sunscreen lotion, and a product test!

Speaking of product test, I have been getting some great ones! Just this past week I have done a face primer, I received a whole package of a Pampers diapers, a foundation from Maybelline, and now some perfume from Escada. It's so fun and I actually got my very first money compensation from a diaper product test of $50!

Ipsy & Benefit Cosmetic Lash Bash Party!

I was one of the lucky 1,020 selected to host this fun party and was so excited! I don't know how they selected me over everyone else, but I made it a point to be very active on Twitter - sharing my excitement and all that! Almost daily! I don't know if that was a factor but I like to think it was! ;)

Anyways, I was soooooooooooo excited to get the package today and although I had did a little peek from somewhere on the internet there was still excitement and surprise when it actually got to me!

Mailbox Freebies: August 11-25th

Won the FRS goodie pack from a Twitter Party they were throwing - I don't think many people were in the party, because I won right away! No complaints here! ;) I dig the energy chews!

The amazing bra came from Bali bras and has to be one of my favorite freebies! It has a $36 value and is SOOOOOO comfortable, and I literally was thinking about how I needed a new bra and this came in the mail!

The pens came from Pilot pens just simply because I complimented them on their awesome pens - they emailed back and said they would send me a "sample" and was surprised to find these as their samples. ;)

The first lipstick is from Stylehunters in the the color Mystic Plum.

The second lipstick is from a giveaway I entered from Jafra Cosmetics.

The ear phones were also from Marlboro.

The Venus Olay razor was for the first 1,000 on Facebook - I love Venus! ;) They always give away goodies and you have to be fast! I just won another one last week!

Made-For-TV Movie Vault: A Face to Die For (1996)

Starring (AKA Who You May Know): Yasmine Bleeth is the one that stands out probably. She was in Baywatch and a couple of other notable Lifetime movies that will surely be reviewed at some point. She plays quiet, insecure Emily who has scars on her face from a car accident when she was young that killed her father. She's a costume designer at the local theater company and works for an old man who sells pricey art to bitches like Mrs. Burman. James Wilder : Know way in heck would you recognize this name, but he pops up in another fabulous Lifetime Movie Our Mother's Murder. From the two movies I have seen him in he's a dick in both of them - and does pretty well!

Plot: As previously mentioned, Emily lives in the shadows of her scarred face. She's quiet and self conscious and treated like crud by her sister and mother. Clearly, the black sheep of the family. Emily works for a rich old man, where she first meets Alec. Alec ignores her scarred up face and falls in love with her even going so far as to propose to her. Everything seems perfect, until Alec threatens to leave town because of some financial shizz. Afraid to loose her "only one true love" she helps him steal from the Old Man she works for. Things go wrong and the old man has a heart attack, she stays and ends up going to jail while Alec runs away with her sister. She gets beat up in prison and meets a surgeon who magically repairs her face! SURPRISE! She looks EXACTLY like his ex-wife. EXACTLY. Which means they were separated at birth. Emily flips her lid, leaves the Doctor and starts her own fashion design business under the new name of Adrienne. She becomes super successful and no one seems to know that she used to be Emily - not even her own sister or Alec. Anywho, Alec catches on and he ends up dead. Happy ending.

What the..? I know it's Lifetime, but...: This story seems awfully far fetched to be a true story - or even loosely based on one. It is a book however, which makes more sense. I just think it's ridiculous how no one knows that Adrienne is Emily. Pfft, oh well. That's a movie for you. ;)

Mailbox Freebies: July 29-August10th!

The school supplies were from Office Max. Jamie from Vonbeau.com sent me a $5 gift card on the app Wrapp and had no minmum! 

The Fels-Naptha bar was from a Purex Insider promotion. Unfortunately, my first time testing the product didn't really work, so I might try again.

The Nutra bar for dogs bar was from their Facebook page, you just had to send them a message with your address and they would send it out!

The 3 Venus Razors came from a Twitter promotion! I had no idea I had 3 coming to me! 

The spatula was from the Alexia Ambassador Program! They were clearancing out products and had enough points!

The pink hair extension was a promotion that Uniwigs had and they were giving away 10,000!

The elastic bands were from Stylehunters. I was supposed to get the Almay Lip Balm but something happened and I never received it. I emailed them and they didn;t know what happened either but said they would send me these instead. I'm cool with anything. Stylehunters is awesome and everything is completely free just goes EXTREMELY fast and often only has 100 available! 

The Little Duck Organics was generously sent to me just because I asked them too! ha ha. 

The SPARK energy samples I saw on instagram.

The Fiber One Lemon Bars - that I ate in 5 seconds because they are sooo good - were from Pillsbury, Live Better America, Betty Crocker or/and Box Tops For Education. I think I got 2 this week, and should be getting one more? 

The Luna carrot bar was a Facebook giveaway for the first 10,000!

I emailed Hawaiin King to compliment them and they sent me two coupons for free products!

The BIC pen was from their month long promotion!

I got 3 of the E-cigs intro kits from Green Smoke with the intention to give them to Dan. However, even though I checked the non-menthol ones, they sent me three of the mentol ones, so Dan wouldn't use them. Bummer, but I will put them in the rummage sale!

The dog samples will also be in a little Doggie pack for the Rummage Sale.

The Smashbox primer samples were easy to get - they were giving away 150,000. In total I got 4.

The BA Star samples were from their website for cheerleading. 

The Nexcare waterproof bandages were from their Facebook page.

The Scribble buster was actually sent to me from the UK, surprisngly! I saw they were offering samples on Twitter and asked if they'd be willing to send me some and they were nice enough to do so! They don't even have their product on market yet, but VERY soon.

The Bath and Body 3oz lotion was free if you went into a store this past Saturday and showed them a print out of the ad or on your phone! 

The Febreze sleep serenity sample was being given away on their Facebook page. I love some Febreze! 

The glitter was also on Twitter and they were giving samples away and I snagged some up! Always nice to ad to the craft box! 

The Markers and pencils were free with coupons.
