Freebies! May 13 - May 25th!

I've been meaning to post my newest freebies for days, so this is the last two weeks of freebies! Most of them came in the mail, but I also included 'no obligation coupon freebies.'

I can't remember how I ended up with the Child Safety gadgets, but I figured that having a 4 month old, we would soon be needing these! They came from Proctor & Gamble!

Libman cleaning company was having a month long giveway where you would have to enter daily to see if you instantly won. I probably entered daily 85% of the time and finally won this mop refill pad in probably the last week! Just goes to show that determination pays off! Value: $8.00

I got the pint glass from Marlboro and you could customize it, although hard to see, as well.

One of my favorite freebies so far is this 36 pack of BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers. I was accepted into a Smiley360 mission and was so excited! I received a craft project along with it, which was decorating a magnet frame. Besides the markers, it came with some stickers and glitter glue pens! Totally awesome! Value: $17.00

Speaking of Smiley360: around this time I was also accepted into another mission for Aveeno Shampoo & Conditioner for Dandruff Control. I was on a roll with Smiley360 - I am currently in 7 active missions! They sent me coupons for one free conditioner and shampoo (9.49 value each) and I purchased them at Target. BUT, not without problems. I swear I tried looking for these about three times or something wouldn't work. I went to CVS and couldn't find them. I went to Walgreens and the dude couldn't get the coupon to work and there was a line so I just left without them, and then I finally got them at Target, but then the checkout girl was new (I think) and didn't understand coupons really well, and yeah. I ended up having to go to the service counter to get a refund for the coupon and blah blah blah. Oh well, what is important is that I ended up getting these!
Value: $10 (they were $5 at Target) http://smiley360.com/1760205.cfm

My third Smiley360 of the week was for the Bonine chewable tablet. I received 5 two pack samples that helps with motion sickness. I am actually pretty excited to be able to try these, because I suffer from pretty frequent motion sickness. I can't even go around a highway ramp without feeling ill sometimes. Value: $2.50 (random number - since 16ct is $5.00)

Then, there is the Olay Fresh Effects face cleanser sample. I love the packaging on this new Olay line of products. I can get a couple uses out of these and is great for traveling!

I received 3 Nexcare band aids from their Facebook page.

Finally, the WAFU Japanese Wasabi Edamame Salad Dressing from Swaggable.com. I didn't "want" this product in my profile, but I wasn't going to say No in the hopes that someone would enjoy this sample! I am not a fan of hot things or salad dressing, but it's still a fun freebie!

Now I wasn't sure if I should post these in my freebies post because they didn't come in the mail, but they were completely free products that I had coupons for with no obligation to purchase anything, or any other hidden trick.

The Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste I picked up from the Dollar Tree - where everything is $1 and I had a $1 off printable coupon, making them completely free! When I received the Purina One cat food sample a couple weeks ago, they included a coupon for a free can of wet food. The Friskie's Rise & Shine was free from a coupon I received off their Facebook page! Value: $4.00

Value TOTAL: $40+ (was kind of lazy this week estimating, can you tell?)

Freebies!: Week of May 5th - May 12th

Another great week!

The biggest freebie came from People's StyleHunters Facebook page. They sent out an email notifying me that there were 100 "samples" of the Rhianna Nude perfume. I was lucky to have caught that email the second it came, because when I went to claim my sample there were still 38 left. Obviously, 100 will go fast, so it was incredibly exciting to get this! Value: $50.00

The Mother's Day card that I made for my sister was from Treat.com - and I thought it turned out SO good. They were running a promotion where you could create your own. Plus it had FREE SHIPPING! Value: $3.50

The zippo lighter I got from Marlboro.com. They give out free stuff all the time and it's actually good quality and doesn't have the Marlboro logo on it, which I was originally wondering about. I didn't want tons of things with the logo on it, especially considering I don't smoke (boyfriend does). Value: $20.00

From what I remember, I had saw an ad in a magazine or I had received something saying that if you use this code you can get $4 off a Gerber silverware set. I went to use it and found out the code wouldn't work, so I emailed the company saying so and they said they would send me a coupon in the mail. The coupon ended up being $5 off any Gerber graduates product. Those baby spoons were $5 at Target, and so after coupon they were completely free! Value: $5.00

The Advil and Centrum came from Smiley360 missions. I was kind of bummed at how small the sample of the Centrum was, but after trying it, I was glad it was only that small. Just wasn't my thing! The Advil Allergy and Congestion will most likely come in handy this summer - I tend to get sick more in Summer because of allergies than in Winter.
Centrum Value: $.24 http://smiley360.com/1564861.cfm
Advil Allergy & Congestion (10 tablets): $8.00 http://smiley360.com/1595493.cfm

Finally, I wasn't sure if I should add this freebie on here, because I technically did have to purchase a pack of razors to get these free. I bought two packs of razors and inside was a coupon for free Gillette Satin Care Shaving Cream from Target.  Value: $4.00

Grand Total: $91.00

Freebies!: April 22 - May 4th

Loreal made it a very good freebie week for me, because I received my compensation gift package in the mail that contained $300 worth of goodies for doing their 10-week BB cream study! Inside was:

Loreal Compensation Gift Package

  • Essie Cuticle Pen ($14)
  • Essie Nail Applique in Glam It On ($10)
  • EverSleek Argan Oil Treatment for Hair ($13)
  • Loreal Infallible Eyeliner in Blackest Black ($10)
  • Loreal Sublime Sun Lotion Sunscreen ($10)
  • Lancome Youth Activating Cream Serum ($84)
  • Loreal Ideal Clean Face Wipes ($5)
  • Loreal EverSleek Shampoo ($6)
  • Loreal EverSleek Conditioner ($6)
  • Lancome Color Design Eyeshadow Quad in Twirling in Tulle ($40)
  • Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado ($24)
  • Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara ($27)
  • Lancome Color Design Lip Color ($22)
  • Loreal True Match Crayon Concealer ($9)
They really do treat their participants fabulously!

I received a coupon for a free box of Belvita a cookies and picked those up from Target for $2.99. It was a promotion where you had to 'like' their Facebook and basically just make it before everyone else!

The Fiber One bars were samples from being a member of the Pillsbury Not-So-Secret Club and Betty Crocker clubs. They give out 10,000 samples a month! You just have to be quick enough to snatch them up, but having April be my first month there was no problem getting one! I don't know if Pillsbury and Betty Crocker repeat the same free sample every month, but it was the same this month so I got two bars.

I don't really remember where I got the 2 pack of Pull Ups or The Ruffies sample of one 13 gallon bag came from, but I am assuming Facebook.

The generous size of Purina One Smart Blend cat food came from Walmart.com!

I received the Schick Hydro Razor by texting a number to get the link to fill out my address. Pretty cool and different, if you ask me!

BzzAgent: Hanes Playtex Campaign

I was so lucky to be chosen to be apart of this BzzAgent Campaign for Hanes Playtex Secrets Balconette Underwire Bra. When I first got this campaign I wasn't too excited. I have always had bad luck with bras. It's hard to find a good one and I had planned on wearing nursing bras for a while since I had just given birth pretty much when I received this campaign. Big boobs and all I wasn't even really sure what size to put down because of that fact that I was breastfeeding my son.

I received the bra in the color nude (maybe not the official name, but that's what it was). I was sort of bummed because when I think of a nude bra, I think of old lady. BUT, color aside, I was SO happy to find that this bra was awesome! I came to that conclusion pretty fast after wearing it for maybe an hour. I was a bit skeptical because it seems that most bras start off being nice and comfy, but having this bra for weeks now and wearing it for weeks now (off and on, of course!) I can confidently say that I LOVE THIS BRA.

Thank you, BzzAgent for the opportunity! The last two campaigns have been very well received by me and I can't wait to be apart of other campaigns!

Disclaimer: As a BzzAgent through the website BzzAgent, I am asked to test, review and spread the 'bzz' about certain products; this is my honest opinion.
